President & CEO
Thirty years' experience in advanced technology development and commercialization.Claude is an industrial projects veteran who brings a rare range of experience leading large world-class projects and scaling-up of advanced manufacturing processes to Inventys. Previously, Claude held senior management roles with Canam Group Inc., SNC-Lavalin Inc., and Kontron Embedded Computers AG. He also founded two technology companies, Vaperma, Inc. (membrane-based gas separation) and Avestor Inc. (thin-film lithium polymer battery). Claude received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from University Laval, Quebec.

Co-founder of Inventys and an inventor of the VeloxoTherm™ process.
Soheil brings 20 years of experience in fundamental research and product development of adsorption systems and holds more than a dozen patents and multiple publications in the field. Soheil’s experience includes 10 years working at QuestAir Technologies as Advanced Process Application Manager for the company’s adsorption systems as well as Director of Technology Development at Xebec Adsorption. He graduated in Refinery Engineering from Shiraz University in Iran in 1992 and completed a Masters in Chemical Engineering from University of Western Ontario in 2001.
Most technological breakthroughs are based on an economical linearization approach, where a single product impacts the sustainability of the whole system. Our technology has been developed to emulate nature's multi-faceted solution for the carbon cycle.
Co-Founder & VP, Products & Strategic Accounts
Co-founder of Inventys and has considerable experience in business development, program management, and product development of gas separation technology.
At QuestAir Technologies, Brett was the program manager for the company’s compact hydrogen production system with its partner, ExxonMobil. He is credited with designing the world’s first solenoid-driven rapid pressure swing adsorption test station. Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Physics, with distinction, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Victoria.
It is empowering to know, given my Alberta heritage, our technology can change the climate impacts of the Alberta oil sands regions and generate significant additional economic benefits.

Co-founder of Inventys and is involved in the business and technology development side of the company.
Darryl previously led business development at QuestAir Technologies for the company’s emerging gas separation opportunities. Darryl holds a B.Sc. degree in chemistry and a chemical engineering degree from the University of British Columbia along with an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

VP, Finance & Corporate Strategy
Corporate development and finance professional with background in the oil & gas sector, capital markets, and chemical engineering.
Matt is a strategic finance professional with a background in the oil & gas sector, chemicals and renewable fuels, and the capital markets. Previously Matt was involved with corporate development with Methanex, the world’s largest producer of methanol, and also in investment banking and equity research with a multinational investment bank providing corporate finance and M&A advisory services as well as equity underwriting. Matt graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.A.Sc in Chemical Engineering (With Distinction), holds a Masters of Engineering from UBC, and is a CFA® charterholder.

Financial professional with more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting operations of private, non-profit, and publicly listed companies.
Karen has held senior management roles with The Rick Hansen Foundation, Spectrum Signal Processing, and QuestAir Technologies. As Interim CFO of QuestAir, she contributed to the completion of the merger between QuestAir and Xebec Adsorption. As Controller, she contributed to QuestAir’s initial public offering, the first company to list on both the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Alternative Investment Market, a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange.
